All 15 quiniela jornada 12 fixtures with kick-off times, plus the Pleno al 15 at the Bernabéu: a derby-bruised Madrid against a Villarreal side on back-to-back wins.

Quiniela jornada 12 of the 2026-27 season marks La Liga's return after the international break, and it comes with a Pleno al 15 that demands respect: Real Madrid v Villarreal, Saturday 10 October at 21:00 CEST at the Santiago Bernabéu. It is matchday 8 of the top flight — the very same fixture, at the same ground, on the same matchday as a year ago. And one detail is repeating itself almost exactly: Madrid once again host Villarreal straight after losing a derby to Atlético.

If you are filling in this week's quiniela, here are all 15 fixtures with kick-off times, the state of José Mourinho's Madrid and Íñigo Pérez's Villarreal, and what recent meetings tell you when it comes to picking the goals for the Pleno al 15.

Quiniela jornada 12 2026: the 15 fixtures and kick-off times

Eight top-flight games and six from the second tier fill the coupon, plus the Pleno al 15 at the Bernabéu. Monday 12 October is a national holiday in Spain, so the round runs right through to Monday night with Levante v Sevilla. All times are Spanish mainland time (CEST). Results will update live on the jornada 12 page.

Which match is this week's Pleno al 15? Real Madrid v Villarreal, La Liga matchday 8, played on Saturday 10 October 2026 at 21:00 CEST at the Santiago Bernabéu. The Pleno al 15 isn't a 1X2 pick: you predict each team's goals as 0, 1, 2 or M (three or more).

Mourinho's Madrid arrive bruised from the derby

Madrid sit fourth on 15 points after seven games: five wins and two defeats, away at Betis (1-0) and, in their last outing before the break, the derby against Atlético (2-1). That slip left them six points behind a Barcelona side with a perfect record (21 from 21, 31 goals scored) — and it left a bill in the treatment room too.

  • Definitely out: Dean Huijsen, suspended after a straight red card in the derby.
  • Injured: Raúl Asencio (after surgery), Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo, who is still recovering from a serious knee injury.
  • Doubts: Fede Valverde, with an ankle sprain picked up in the derby, and Kylian Mbappé, hurt playing for France in the first game of the break but expected to be available.
  • Good news: Ibrahima Konaté is fit again and Éder Militão is back in full training.

With Huijsen out, Rüdiger and Konaté look set to pair up at centre-back. But for anyone filling in a coupon, the real question is how many goals this Madrid side can score at home — and recent history against Villarreal is a useful guide.

Villarreal's Rafa Marín slides in to block a shot from Alavés' Pablo Ibáñez at Mendizorroza (La Liga, March 2026)

Íñigo Pérez's Villarreal: from a dreadful start to back-to-back wins

Villarreal are ninth on 8 points (two wins, two draws, three defeats) after their worst start to a season in a long time. But they reach the Bernabéu with a bit of momentum: their only two league wins, both 3-1 against Málaga and Levante, came in their last two league games. They score plenty (13 in seven matches) but leak plenty too (12).

Pérez, who took over in the summer, has only Tajon Buchanan as a doubt with a hamstring niggle, and gets Santi Comesaña back after almost three weeks out. This is a side that commits bodies forward — Pépé, Moleiro, Akhomach and Ayoze Pérez — and leaves gaps behind, which is exactly what Madrid like to see at the Bernabéu.

Pleno al 15 jornada 12: what recent Madrid v Villarreal games say

Madrid have won four of their last five meetings with Villarreal, and the other was a wild 4-4 in May 2024. Their last two clashes at the Bernabéu, both in October, saw Madrid score at least twice:

DateFixtureScorePleno al 15
5 Oct 2024Real Madrid v Villarreal2-02 - 0
4 Oct 2025Real Madrid v Villarreal3-1M - 1
24 Jan 2026Villarreal v Real Madrid0-20 - 2

The October 2025 game is the closest match for Saturday. That Madrid team were also coming off a derby defeat (5-2 at the Metropolitano), and they answered with a 3-1 win: two from Vinícius and one from Mbappé, with Mikautadze pulling one back for Villarreal. In January, at La Cerámica, two Mbappé goals settled a 2-0 away win.

What the odds say

The bookmakers make Madrid heavy favourites. The average prices collected by betexplorer on 7 October had the home win at 1.33, the draw at 5.85 and a Villarreal win at 7.30 — a little over 70% for Madrid once the bookmakers' margin is stripped out. Along with Barcelona v Getafe, it is the clearest call on the coupon.

How to pick this week's Pleno al 15

Bear in mind that the Pleno al 15 only counts towards the special prize tier if you also get the first 14 matches right, so for most coupons its real weight is small. Still, it's worth a little method:

  1. Pick the likeliest winner first. That's Madrid here — but a favourite is not the same as a guaranteed rout.
  2. Decide whether Villarreal score. They have 13 goals in seven league games and scored on their last league trip to the Bernabéu, so a 1 for the away side is a reasonable shout.
  3. Calibrate the home goals. Against a side that concedes a lot, 2 or M are the logical boxes for Madrid. M pays more if it lands, but needs three goals or more.
  4. If you play as a group, split the combinations: some on 2-1, others on M-1 or 2-0. It's the cheapest way to cover the Pleno al 15.

If you want a refresher on how 1X2 picks, doubles, trebles and the Pleno al 15 work in a prediction league, it's all in how to play. The full season calendar lives in the 2026-27 quiniela archive.

The rest of the coupon: three games that could decide the round

  • Alavés v Atlético (Saturday, 16:15): Atlético are second on 16 points and flying after winning the derby, but Mendizorroza is an awkward place to go and Alavés are sixth.
  • Racing Santander v Valencia (Sunday, 21:00): Valencia are second from bottom on 4 points, making El Sardinero one of the most open games of the weekend.
  • Levante v Sevilla (Monday, 21:00): Sevilla are fifth on 13 points and Levante 17th; the game that closes the round could keep coupons alive until the final whistle.

And if the quiniela slips away from you at the Bernabéu this weekend, there's always the rematch with your mates.
