La Quiniela is Spain's state-run football pools, run by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (LAE). Every week the coupon lists 15 matches: for the first 14 you mark 1 for a home win, X for a draw or 2 for an away win, and the 15th, the Pleno al 15, asks for the goals each side scores (0, 1, 2 or M for three or more). Matchday 16 of 2026-27 was played from Saturday 24 to Monday 26 October, with seven LaLiga games, three from the second tier and four from Liga F, and El Clásico as the Pleno al 15.

The winning column had seven home wins, five draws and two away wins. None of the five draws was the betting market's favourite outcome. The upsets started with the first game: the market gave Rayo Vallecano a 53.75% chance of beating Elche, but Elche won 0-3 at Vallecas in a first half with three penalties. Almeria were 57.21% favourites against Real Oviedo and led 2-0, but Oviedo pulled one back on 87 minutes and equalised in stoppage time with a deflected shot.

The Pleno al 15 finished 1-2 at Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday night. Mbappe put Real Madrid ahead on 41 minutes, Raphinha equalised on 61 and Mbappe scored again on 87, his 100th goal for the club. The market rated Barcelona scoring exactly one goal at 29.14% and Madrid scoring exactly two at 19.4%.
Prizes and winners
The official prize breakdown paid €36,053.45 to each of the 15 coupons with 14 correct. Nobody got all 14 plus the Pleno al 15, so that prize rolls over into a jackpot. Every prize this week was below €40,000, the threshold above which Spanish tax takes 20%, so all of them are paid in full. Total stakes for the round were €3,380,010.75.
